Course Objectives

What aspects of modern life play a role in anxiety, depression and poor mental health? Join us as we explore the influence of modern times. We draw from both research and the unique experiences of all students to provide you with an opportunity to build strategies to make positive changes.

Learning Outcomes

1. Identify what aspects of the modern world can affect your mental health outcomes.

2. Understand why the modern world doesn’t always suit our human minds.

3. Learn through research and discussion how you can thrive in the modern world, and discover how the positive aspects of the modern world can be used to your advantage.

4. Draw upon your own life and learn from the unique experiences of others.
